Strategically located in the heart of the ski area of the Vaud Alps, always snow-covered thanks to the snow cannons, the Maison de montagne de Bretaye (MMB) benefits from a unique and attractive location.

In the heart of an authentic nature and offering all the facilities for your comfort, the house can accommodate groups, schools, families or individual visitors thanks to its different types of rooms.

Building on its history and its former role as a Military House, the MMB was founded on the values of sharing and accessibility of the mountain for all: it must also allow children and families with modest incomes to enjoy the joys of the mountain.

At the time of its creation, Major Colonel Guisan recalled the missions of the MMB:

"To bring together under the same roof, in the same thought, the military and the civilian, in a country where the two mentalities merge, to make the love that must unite them even better understood".
