In summer, the Vaud Alps are worth a visit: vineyards and wine cellars, alpine cheese making (Etivaz AOC...), silhouette art, Bex salt mines, thermal springs in Lavey-les-Bains, discovering traditional mountain villages, stunned by dreamy mountain lakes and even more by breathtaking views (from the revolving restaurant Kuklos for instance), wandering through deep gorges and more than 500 km of hiking trails. Getting adventurous over 150 km of mountain bike trails.
